The Golden Crab’s car park was full. It was obviously a popular place. Suki found a space on the road nearby and we stepped out from the cool aircon into the baking hot sun; the view out over the sea was spectacular.

‘It’s gorgeous,’ Emma said as Suki got the camera rolling.

It was gorgeous – the clifftop view over a sandy cove down below and the sea was an incredible turquoise green. ‘And that air,’ I said, ‘smell that air.’ I breathed it in deep.

‘It’s beautiful,’ Emma said, linking my arm. ‘And it’s making me hungry.’
